SHARES: New operating systems compatibility
Recently RCAC upgraded our Windows operating system and I had a little difficulty accessing SHARES and printing out my reports. I contacted the eAuthentication help desk folks and found it was a simple fix. When you log into SHARES you’ll see at the top of your internet tool bar what looks like a ripped piece of paper, click that! It automatically resets your computer to the eAuthentication webpage and allows the older SHARES program to be accessed by a new computer and/or operating system.
A quick update on the new SHARES program is some of your fellow self-help grantees have offered to test the new system and provide input to the developer. I look forward to testing the new system myself and anticipate we should start within a month. We’ll keep you posted!
Do you have any special tips or uses for SHARES? Send them to Nancy Jacobsen at njacobsen@rcac.org and we may print them in our Self-Help BuilderNews upcoming editions.
