Self-help success in Utah
With the completion of the Corrine, Utah group’s homes, we will hit (and surpass) the 250 mark for the number of self-help homes built in Northern Utah! This translates to a huge number of hours spent building by a huge number of people (and there has only been one foreclosure during this time.) We believe this is a great program, and I want to thank those who help make it work. We appreciate all our funders, who are essential to the program; the cities that make our work easier; and especially our families, who are willing to do so much to become homeowners. If you get a chance, drive through the subdivision and meet the proud new owners and hear their stories. It makes the holiday season feel a little more special; happy holidays to all of you!
