Capacity Development
Through its Comprehensive Community Development (CCD) services, RCAC brings a holistic approach to serving small communities. CCD services include:

Leadership Development Training: Helping communities find and train enthusiastic residents in civic leadership.

Economic Development Assistance: Helping small communities improve struggling economies, reduce out-migration, address decline of natural-resource based industries, respond to outside development pressures and build on past successes.

Community Planning: Helping small communities address future needs today by adequately planning for tomorrow’s inevitabilities and possibilities.

Affordable Housing:
RCAC works with mutual self-help housing agencies, community housing development organizations, and other nonprofit organizations to develop affordable housing.

Environmental Infastructure:
RCAC provides assistance to small municipal and nonprofit water systems, wastewater systems and solid waste management programs in 11 western states.
