RCAC assists small water systems pass new state law
Five New Mexico water systems made history recently when they merged to create a new entity. To form the Lower Rio Grand Public Water Works Authority regional system, the utilities advocated their elected representatives to sponsor and pass legislation. RCAC helped draft House Bill 185, which was signed into law by New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson on April 6, 2009.
