The Department of Health, Division of Environmental Public Health - Southwest Regional Office of Drinking Water is searching for a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the position of Environmental Planner 3 - Regional Planner. This position is located in Turnwater, Washington. (Recruitment #DOH2015)
 
Regional Planners review water system plans and provide technical assistance to help public water systems manage themselves effectively. Planners also act as technical liaisons with watershed planning units, local government, and Department of Ecology on water resource issues. Planners may also be expected to coordinate and conduct public presentations on issues related to water system planning, conservation, growth , and land use.
 
We are looking for someone who has worked with water utilities or utility staff and has some insight on the challenges water systems face and what it takes for them to succeed.
