Green Infrastructure Development
RCAC can help your rural infrastructure project achieve recycling, reuse and reduced energy costs.
If your community is considering new, expanded or rehabilitated drinking water, wastewater, storm water or solid waste systems, consider going green.
These systems may consume considerable amounts of energy and often have hidden resource value. RCAC can assist your community with evaluating energy, efficiency and resource conservation options. We can provide you with the information, skills and resources necessary to implement new and innovative systems that help ensure the environmental health of your community.
A green infrastructure approach will make the most of reuse and recycling (for wastewater and solid waste), reducing costs and minimizing the use of natural resources.
Contact your local RCAC field office for additional information or contact RCAC's environmental green services coordinator Ellen Drew at 575/421-0261 or e-mail at edrew@rcac.org.
