RCAC’s Finnly Sutton steps down after 14 years
Finnly Sutton, RCAC special projects director, and former housing program manager, joined RCAC as a rural development specialist in 1998. Since then, he has held several other positions at RCAC including grants and contracts administration manager and state team director. He took the helm as housing director in 2007. After 14 years at RCAC, Sutton has decided to retire.
“Finnly managed the housing program through protracted contract negotiations as RCAC and the other self-help contractors worked to support the self-help network. In spite of month-to-month funding for much of the time, RCAC managed to support and maintain the self-help housing network in the West, not in small measure thanks to the leadership Finnly provided,” said Stanley Keasling, RCAC chief executive officer.
“Finnly’s expertise has been invaluable at RCAC; and we will miss his leadership and guidance. The entire staff and board wish him the best of luck in his well-deserved retirement,” said Keasling.
RCAC hired Joni Foster earlier this year as Sutton’s replacement.
