2012 Affordable housing in high cost areas conference
In spite of the decline in housing prices in many areas of the country, affordable housing options remain out of reach for many working families – especially in high cost areas. Whether you are working in a bustling urban center, resort town, tropical paradise, or a small town experiencing growing pains, the obstacles to creating affordable housing are often very similar.
Come join us for the 2012 Affordable Housing in High Cost Areas conference in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 11 – 12, at the Ala Moana Hotel. Stakeholders and interested parties will discuss and develop real strategies to overcome barriers to affordable housing in high cost areas. The conference features a wide variety of sessions, speakers and networking opportunities designed to provide new tools, innovative solutions and resources to meet housing needs in your community.
RCAC is presenting this conference in partnership with Housing Hawaii, and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) – Honolulu Field Office is providing major funding.
