New Toastmasters Club Now Meeting in West Sacramento

March 26, 2007

West Sacramento, Calif. — Do you want to conquer your fear of public speaking, gain leadership skills and improve your communication skills? Then we have the club for you. We’re looking for a few good men and women to join our new Toastmasters Club.

Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) is now sponsoring Toastmasters meetings at its corporate headquarters. The new club meets every Thursday at 3120 Freeboard Drive, Suite 201, West Sacramento.

If you’re like most people, public speaking is not your favorite pastime. Yet survey after survey shows that presentation skills are crucial to success in the work place. The person with strong communication skills has a clear advantage over tongue-tied colleagues. Come join us to “learn by doing” and hone your communication skills in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere.

Toastmasters International has been helping people learn leadership and improve their communication skills, and conquer pre-speech jitters for nearly 80 years. The nonprofit organization has approximately 195,000 members in 9,300 clubs in nearly 80 countries.
