RCAC seeks Accounting Analyst (West Sacramento, California)

Temporary Position

Join our finance team in West Sacramento as a temporary team member. The Accounting Analyst will create and maintain RCAC's budgets and will provide analytical financial support to the CFO, controller, assistant controller and other internal clients and must be able to analyze complex financial and statistical data and reports.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintenance of the corporate budget system; analyze budget data and prepare budget reports; perform analysis of GL accounts; review revenue centers; review and reconcile investment portfolio; and perform bank statement reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have intermediate to advanced spreadsheet capabilities, knowledge of general accounting theory, principles and practices, and basic principles of fund accounting. Working knowledge of Great Plains accounting software and Budget Maestro software are a plus.

This position requires a minimum of four (4) years of applicable experience in nonprofit and/or public accounting (education may be substituted for experience). A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting is preferred.
