April 18, 2013
West Sacramento, Calif. —Rural
Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) announces the election of three new
board members. Marty Miller of Washington, Rachel Morse of Alaska and Frank

RCAC board members serve
three-year terms and may remain on the board for up to four consecutive terms. Recently,
board members Bill Wiese, Flo Raitano and Jon Townsend each completed a fourth,
three-year term on the RCAC Board.
“Bill, Flo and Jon were key
members of the RCAC leadership that managed the transition when our founder
Bill French retired and I took the helm at RCAC,” said Stanley Keasling, RCAC’s
current CEO. “They are an irreplaceable
part of the corporate memory.”
Mr. Miller is the executive
director of the Yakima-based Office of Rural and Farmworker Housing (ORFH), a

experience.
Ms. Morse is the interim director of Alumni Relations at the University of
Alaska and the executive director of the UAA Alumni Association. She has spent
the past decade working with rural communities in Alaska on projects that
include environmental stewardship, housing, early childhood education and other

than 18 years of banking experience, which includes an in-depth understanding
of multifamily mortgage revenue bonds and low-income housing tax credit
programs. He also has more than 14 years of experience in community and
affordable housing development and financing.
“Rachel, Marty and Frank are
part of the new generation of leadership on the RCAC board and bring a new
energy to the work we do,” Keasling added. “They all have the depth of experience in rural community development
that will help to shape RCAC’s work in the coming years.”
