Collaborative program offers families opportunity to build their homes

Christy Milburn has gone from being homeless to building her own home.
With help from the Missoula Housing Authority and NeighborWorks Great Falls, Milburn and her children are one of 10 families who qualified for mortgages and are putting in sweat equity to construct their own houses. The homes are slated to be complete in summer 2013.
“I’ve moved and worked very hard to get to the point of homeownership, so that’s what’s exciting about it for me,” Milburn said. Read more >>
