Using New Markets Tax Credits, RCAC provided an $8 million loan to Bayview Community, LLC in Whidbey Island Washington. The credits were the basis of a partnership with Whidbey Island Community Bank and RCAC. The loan enabled the sponsor, Goosefoot Community Fund to make much needed improvements to a commercial center that was central to the local community, including an existing grocery store.
