Lindsay Wellness Center opens at site of former hospital

On the site of the old Lindsay Hospital sits a recently completed wellness center where members can exercise, take exercise classes, get physical therapy, manage diabetes, suppress addictions, lose weight and even get a massage.
The wellness center is a partnership between the city and the Lindsay hospital board, which is charged with overseeing more than $350,000 a year in property tax money even though the hospital closed more than a decade ago.
