Wells Fargo gives more than $146,000 to Yolo nonprofits

Wells Fargo & Co. announced that it invested a record $146,100 to nonprofits in Yolo County in 2011.

In addition, Wells Fargo team members contributed more than 163 volunteer hours to help their neighborhoods and communities succeed.

“There are many families and individuals in our communities who have been affected, in some way, by the current economic challenges, and I am proud of how our company and our team members have helped make a difference for those in need” said Natasha Mata, Four Rivers Market president, in a news release.

“Year after year, Wells Fargo continues to offer its financial resources and expertise, working closely with nonprofits and other stakeholders to promote long-term economic growth and quality of life in the communities we serve.”

In Davis, Wells Fargo branches are at 340 F St. and in the Safeway stores at 1431 W. Covell Blvd. and 2121 Cowell Blvd.

Wells Fargo has invested in local nonprofits including the West Sacramento Foundation, Rural Community Assistance Corporation, California 4-H Foundation, Families First, UC Davis Foundation and Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. Read more >>
