GREAT BASIN WATER NETWORK
The Nevada Wildlife Commission unanimously approved a resolution on December 2 in Reno asking the State Water Engineer to deny Southern Nevada Water Authority’s applications for water in Spring, Cave, Dry Lake, and Delamar Valleys in White Pine and Lincoln Counties.

RCAC Board of Directors elects new roster
The Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) board of directors recently elected new officers at its quarterly meeting. Elizabeth Moore, Nevada, is now board president; Robert Rendon, Utah, is vice president; Anita Gahimer Crow, Washington, is secretary; and Nalani Fujimori-Kaina, Hawaii, is treasurer. Dr. Florine Raitano from Colorado was the board president for the last two years and will continue to serve on the board.
