How We Can Help

Home Ownership and Safe Shelter

For more than 33 years, RCAC has received United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funding to provide technical and managerial assistance to Mutual Self-Help Housing agencies in the West. RCAC also works with other nonprofit organizations to build multi-family affordable housing. RCAC works with Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs) to build farm worker and low-income housing.

Water and Waste

RCAC's environmental programs provide technical assistance and training to small water systems and provide access to funding for water system improvement projects. Each year, RCAC aids literally hundreds of small community and tribal water systems by building capacity, improving regional leadership, training water operators, providing technical assistance and accessing financial resources.

Financing

RCAC is a Community Finance Development Institution (CDFI) that provides financing for projects that in turn allow our borrowers to access permanent or long-term financing. RCAC also assists communities and nonprofit organizations to apply for public and private funds.

Capacity Development

RCAC's Comprehensive Community Development (CCD) services are designed to address disparate needs within many small communities. CCD services include leadership training, economic development and community planning. The CCD strategy also includes all other RCAC services.
